NEW YORK TIMES -AGAIN??

I said what I meant and meant what I said, when the New York Times calls, I am 100 percent dead. But really though.  As the flag saga comes to a feverish climax, the NYT wanted to know my thoughts about the final flag. "Let's be real for a moment.  When the New York Times called I about fell off my chair."  "As a rez girl who started her business at her kitchen table, I continue to be amazed and grateful for the opportunities to talk about how powerful imagery is.  We claim space with flags and changing this flag is a profound moment in our history."  "The bottom line for me is that we change this. First Ojibwe Flag at Allianz Field

Heart Berry unfurled the first ever Ojibwe flag this sunday on Indigenous People's Eve with Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and House Representative Jamie Becker-Finn.  This flag follows the fundraiser with our friends at the MN Dark Clouds for Minnesota Indian Women's Sexual Assault Coalition last year where our supporters and community raised $9,430 for MIWSAC to create a Survivor's Fund from Crewneck Sales!  We loved this so much we took it further and made a flag to wave in the Wonderwall at Allianz Field, the home of the Minnesota United Loons, Minnesota's MLS team. We cheered on our team to a 2-0 win!
